Paul launched The Original Mortgage Company in January 2011, having worked in financial services since 1995.

The aim of the business – to bring unbiased, completely independent advice to clients from the whole of the UK mortgage market.

With a wealth of experience in the mortgage industry Paul knew there was a better option out there for most clients, or put simply – Original Ideas for Your Finances

OFFICE MANAGER

Following over 30 years in the banking industry Julie sought a new challenge and joined the team in April 2012.

Bringing with her years of mortgage experience and a keen eye for customer service.

Outside of work Julie enjoys regular trips to the USA and spending time with her family.

SENIOR MORTGAGE & PROTECTION CONSULTANT

Starting out originally as an apprentice in 2012, Will quickly rose to the role of mortgage consultant and ultimately to Senior mortgage & Protection Consultant.

Outside of work Will is a keen snowboarder and an avid Leeds Utd fan.

Adam has been providing mortgage advice since 2002, having worked with Paul in the past, Adam joined the Original team in 2013.

Having helped hundreds of clients over the years, Adam has a vast knowledge of the mortgage and protection market.

SENIOR MORTGAGE ADMINISTRATOR

Starting out in the banking world for the first 24 years of her career, Angela joined the team in 2013.

As a former mortgage advisor with a strong focus on customer service Angela’s years of experience make her an ideal addition to the team.

Outside of work Angela enjoys travel and horse riding.

SENIOR MORTGAGE & PROTECTION CONSULTANT

Helping clients take control of their finances since 2005, Lindsey having worked with both Paul and Adam previously, joined the team in January 2017.

She brings with her a wealth of industry experience along with hundreds of satisfied clients across the country.

Outside of work Lindsey enjoys yoga and spending time with her family.

CLIENT LIAISON MANAGER

Following 36 years in the banking world, predominantly in senior management roles, Alison joined the team in January 2018.

With overall responsibility for liaising with our existing clients to review their mortgage arrangements.

Outside of work Alison enjoys far flung travel and is an avid international cricket fan.

APPRENTICE MORTGAGE ADMINISTRATOR

Originally starting as an apprentice in February 2018, Amy successfully graduated in February 2019 and has become an invaluable member of the administration team.

Outside of work Amy loves to travel.

SENIOR MORTGAGE AND PROTECTION CONSULTANT

Liam joined the team in 2019 following 10 years working for both a National bank & regional building society.

He now travels the northeast visiting clients to guide them through the thousands of mortgage options available.

When not at work he is a life long Hartlepool Utd supporter.

COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Peter joined the OMC team in November 2018 , he comes to us with a wealth of experience after a career in banking spanning 41 years (and counting)

Outside of work Peter is another long suffering Leeds United fan and has a keen interest in all things fitness related.

APPRENTICE MORTGAGE ADMINISTRATOR

Joining the team in February 2019 Lauren’s knowledge of the mortgage market already exceeds that of most people.

Outside of work Lauren is a keen gym member, an avid music fan and enjoys socialising.
